Caitlin is a transplant to the Knoxville area after growing up in Santa Rosa, CA. She completed her undergraduate education at Miami University in Ohio, where she was a member of the Varsity Synchronized Skating and Collegiate Figure Skating teams. She, then, completed a Master in Health and Exercise Science, specializing in neuromuscular control patterns of the ankle, before completing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Washington University in St Louis. Her education at physical therapy school was based on the Movement Systems Impairment method, which focuses on changing faulty movement patterns during daily activities to improve function and assist in pain management through exercise and postural training. Caitlin has a dual practice emphasis on both pain management throughout the lifespan and performing artists with acute and chronic injuries. She spends her free time with her husband, Brett, and 2 kids, Lucas and Ava.
