Emily Clothier

Emily grew up in Knoxville and originally attended Lipscomb University for her bachelor’s while playing collegiate soccer for 5 years before she went on to get her doctorate at ETSU! She got interested in physical therapy after being injured with an L4 stress fracture in high school. She loved how much face-to-face time PTs have with their patients and that fostered her love for the profession. She believes all PTs have a unique ability to make a real difference in both the rehabilitative and preventive medical worlds.

She has a true interest in athletes of all kinds, but especially soccer players! She is also pursuing higher education in vestibular therapy to treat patients with BPPV and vertigo.

She spends what free time she does have working out with my husband (Davis), spending time with family, and petting other people’s dogs.
